Moving On.

Madison recently celebrated her first birthday and as is customary, she got all dressed up in her favorite cake:

I think it's time I kept this blog rolling with updates, despite the lack of photography I have been doing as of late.  I've just been so busy with training at work and sleeping during the day, playing catch up on the weekends, that I haven't had time to do much in-between.

On a really great note, I am a month away from having my own place.  A nice little 630 square foot loft in downtown Fresno to call my own.  So lately I have been on a desigh kick, looking for stuff that I'd like to fill my loft with.  So far I have living room furniture and plates.

I am a big fan of independent art and design, so I love looking through design sites for artists looking to make a little extra money.  Etsy is a favorite shop of mine and there are so many other little modern/contemporary design shops to branch off of from there.  But I am still looking for really cool towels for the kitchen and bath, barstools, rugs, lamps, desks, kitchen utensils...

You name it, I need it.  So, if anyone is out there in blog-o land reading this and knows of some great sites at which I can obtain some cool things, please pass them along my way.
